Cloverleaf High School created a glorified “new school building” that looks more like a colourful modernized prison or hospital than a normal traditional high school. The classrooms have garage doors and everything looks super odd, we don’t even have proper lockers. Teachers are very biased and will put other students over you and fail you instead of helping you out. My honors algebra teacher had 1/3 of his HONORS kids failing the 3rd quarter. You need a 59.5% to pass with a D, I was at a 58% and I heard that a girl with a 51% got bumped up to a D and not me, who had the higher grade and put more effort in the class, pure bias. Also, teachers disregard your emails saying that you are struggling in their class and would like support, and when you go up to them during a free period to talk about it, they put all the blame on you instead of offering proper support. When you reach out to someone higher up about it, they do nothing. Some other teachers, such as the ones in the history department, are very unbiased and willing to help, and really know their stuff. I commend them.

The elementary school is actually great, but the middle school and high school are soooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The teaching staff is actually pretty good for the most part, but unfortunately their hands are often tied by the administration. I can't tell you how many teachers have also expressed their concerns, but can't speak out for fear of being fired. This school promotes hate, discrimination, racism, sexism, and has a reputation among local hospitals and mental health facilities for it. They hide behind excuses for failing to adequately protect their students, and try to place blame on the victims and their families. THIS SCHOOL IS NOT SAFE !!!! They also fail to provide clear and decisive leadership, which usually leads to last minute notice and / or all out failure to provide information with reasonable notice. This not only leads to confusion, but often becomes the responsibility of the parents/guardians to accommodate them. It's sad and truly disappointing how many of the "leaders" here don't seem to care at all about the students and families they are supposed to be serving. I hope and pray that positive people and changes will come quickly!

If I could have given zero stars I would have. This school is a joke. No one calls back everyone is always busy. They do not listen to what the parents say or want or know the child needs. They give way to much homework why are the children doing homework at 8pm still? I cant wait to move! Black River is better!
