  • Chasidy L.
"Safety of the area, school ratings, nearby entertainment. Commute to work Restaurants Shopping areas walking paths "
  • Pjlrogers
"Depends on whether your going to work or shopping and what time of day it is. The work commute can be hairy so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there without taking unnecessary risks. Drive safely, you still have a lot of living to do! Hiram is what I call a “rural suburb” of Atlanta. So even though there are a lot of varied and extensive activities to enjoy in the surrounding area, it is a very short drive to many cultural and art exhibits, theatre productions and family entertainment parks like “Six Flags Over Georgia”. There is no lack of cultural, educational and yes “fun” opportunities in this area. So your commute to work could as long as 1 hour from Hiram to downtown Atlanta, or as short as 10 minutes if your lucky enough to work for the Wellstar Family Medical Practices or Facilities (for example). "
  • Patsy R.
"Great place to live. Less traffic so it's easier to take walks with your dog. Beautiful area with friendly neighbors."
  • Patsy R.
"The neighborhood is friendly. Some folks walk dogs, and some have their children with them. However, parents should accompany them on walks and to the parks at least until they have met a few people and learned the lay of the land. "
  • Amaelster
"I have lived here for a year and like it. Very quiet area and have not heard of any crimes in the area "
  • Laroywill
"Amazing area! Love staying here, too bad I’ll have to leave in the future because I’m renting. Definitely the place to look at when I’m ready to buy my first house!"
  • Mnjyoung
"Lived here for 24 years. It’s a friendly quiet neighborhood. nice mix of young families and older established families. "
  • Shamiredevine
"through downtown hiram slow and pack during high points in the day, but safe. lots of lights and turn holds ups"
  • Haley C.
"Downtown Hiram has a Christmas tree lighting event every year that is fun for the whole family. Taylor Farm Park does movies in the park and has a fireworks show on New Years that is pretty great as well. Other than that- I don’t know of many community events."
