5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMcAlpine has been a wonderful experience for my two children. It's smaller than surrounding schools, so the teachers and admin get to really know your child. Class sizes are smaller than average, and there isn't overcrowding. The younger grades get two recesses a day, which is great for energetic kids. The specials teachers are really great, especially the P.E. teacher, Ms. Davis. She's dedicated to making physical activity fun and goes above what's required of her position. There are some truly standout teachers that we've been lucky to have. We've also had a more average teacher, but I feel like that's the case at every school. The teachers are super friendly and the staff are there to help you whenever you are feeling bad. The students are very nice and supportive of one another. "Trees everywhere. A couple of times a year, you will see the trees drip and it looks like rain. Nice neighbors. Some are helpful. Many are retired, SAHM, and work from home. "

"It’s established, beautiful, quiet and safe! There are constantly people walking, running or walking their dogs. You will see deer and geese often. The neighborhood park is great for the kids. It’s nearby a lot of great shopping centers. The schools are amazing! "

"Raintree is a huge planned neighborhood with beautiful landscaping, two golf courses, safe streets and diverse, adorable architecture. It is surrounded by three equidistant shopping centers: Promenade on Providence, Stonecrest, and The Arboretum. It is also just a short drive away from Ballantyne Village and Blakeney shopping centers, and sidewalks connect Raintree to all those popular locations."

"As a child who grew up in the area, I can say from personal experience that there is no better location to raise children. Perfect size basketball court nearly on the property of this house (4813), short walk to a tennis court and full playground, heavily wooded area with creeks supporting beautiful walks, and a full-sized ball field only a short walk away... everything a child needs to open up his/her imagination... all within a faint hollar from the parents to bring their children in for supper. Not to mention the excellent location for schools, grocery shopping, golf, etc. etc. etc... "
