They generally care about their students and their performance in school. Always encouraging them to be their best selves and get involved in activities. To the faculty.....your hard work and enthusiasm does not go unnoticed. We see all you are doing for our kids!! Thank you!Parent Review7mo ago - Virgil I Grissom Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you want your child to learn and grow in a positive, supportive learning community, then you will be pleased with what Grissom offers. The school offers a rigorous curriculum and differentiated support for students of all abilities. The leadership is very involved and communicative with families. Teachers are supportive and proactive in best meeting students' needs. The school offers a wide variety of extracurricular sports, clubs, and activities. The school takes the initiative to address social-emotional needs through classroom lessons and on-site counseling and social work. Overall, the school climate is very positive and welcoming. It sounds as though the person who posted the poor review of the school lacks the ability to take personal accountability for learning and following the state and school procedures that ALL students and families are required to follow. Don't let the misguided opinion of one person who thinks the rules do not apply to themself cloud your judgment of what is a terrific school and community.Other Review4mo ago - John A Bannes Elementary School
