I am a teacher at this school but have a current student attending and have had another student go through. MSES is a tight knit community that welcomes any and all students! Teachers create strong academic environments where students get hands on opportunities to explore learning and create positive relationships with their classmates and school staff. On top of their homeroom learning, students have the opportunity to explore art, music, Spanish and STEM classes! Concerts, art showcases, cultural projects and science based projects are just a few of the fun extra curricular opportunities every K-5 student participates in. Whole child learning is lived out every day at MSES!In short, my students sums up what this school means to them on snow days, holidays, and weekends..."Awww, I don't want to miss school!" There is real care, attention and love for students at MSES and I highly recommend you check out this hidden gem in public education!

"After 5 years the seclusion is welcome, the views terrific and access to down town is just 7 miles away. Pikes Peak Mountain Estates is a gated community with some extremely nice homes; NOT cabins and the like. Rare to see a car, great for animals and 2.5 acre plots get things private"

"year round beauty surrounded by trees, mountains, and changing of the seasons. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood, only 20 minutes from Downtown Colorado Springs and 8 minutes from Manitou Springs, but yet so different to be in the country."
