FECC is the most nurturing environment there is for young kids ! from top notch curriculum to loads of extracurricular activities. teachers and staff who love the kids like their own and take pride in their work and the kids accomplishments. My daughter is in kindergarten and we are having such a great year! She can’t wait to go to school in the mornings ! The school spirit is unreal and her teachers are always there to help her is she shows any sign of a minor struggle. We are so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful school! If you are looking for a great school to sned your kids look no further !

I have had four children go through the Hewlett Woodmere schools from Pre-K on. As an educator, I have been impressed with the quality of education my children have received at all of the schools. There are tremendous opportunities for students to succeed regardless of their interest, talent and level of ability including strong academics and an amazing music and arts department. Because of the numerous college level courses offered, many students are able to graduate from college in three years. I can’t say enough about how amazing the guidance department is. Regardless of the type of student your child is, they are there to support you. As a teacher, I have seen how the district is thoughtful and forward thinking in terms of curriculum and programs. They continually seek feedback from the community. I feel fortunate to have been able to send my children to school in this district.

My children say Ogden is a family and they are right! The principal is one of a kind and under her leadership students, teachers, parents, and the pta all thrive! Aside from the nurturing and welcoming school culture, children have an opportunity to learn by joining student council, band/chorus, discovery (a stem program), and more. The school offers after school clubs such as coding and art, as well as clubs organized by the pta ranging from sports to art to robotics and more. The school holds seasonal events for the entire community as well as unique competitions the students can join such as shark tank and trashion show. Every child has an ability to explore various parts of themselves as well as receiving an excellent education in the basics (reading, math, science, etc). Parents and the school are a real partnership here. I could not speak more highly of Ogden!

Hewlett woodmere is the best district with the best teachers!! My 3 children got a top notch education! There is so much to offer and so my services for children who are in need of them. The teachers are there because they love their job not because they have to be there. My middle daughter had such an amazing experience she chose to become. a teacher. She is blessed to teach 8th grade English and Social Studies at Woodmere Middle School. Her dream job since a 3rd grade student at Hewlett Elementary. She loves her job and each an every student!
