"Very close to schools, many kids and many walkers from school. People are active, jogging and walking their dogs. Everyone typically stays to themselves and respectfully maintains yards and appearance of neighborhood. Great place to raise kids."

"This is a place to start a family, or raise your family- it’s a community mostly everyone is friendly and mindful of one another- we all get along well and there are great schools, churches, and convenience of stores and near public transportation. I’d recommend our immediate area anytime "

"People wonder through neighborhoods and break into cars a lot. Lock your car doors when you park. A lot of solicitors knock on doors and sometimes they are scams. Tell your children not to open the doors for them. "

"Many of the homes are not well cared for. It is inconvenient to walk through the neighborhoods because sidewalks are in poor shape and people have trees/bushes/branches blocking the path."

"Fort Meade has events year round. They are all free and many are open to the public. Range from Fourth of July celebration to national night out. Also have free concerts on the parade field."
