I would encourage everyone to use the new and long overdue ESAs (empowerment scholarship funds, they are NOT vouchers) to go to a private school where obviously you'll have a more safe, protected and stronger learning environment. We had to remove our daughter from this school due to bullying and real threats of violence, including from a parent of one of the other kids at the school. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is such a disappointment. It used to be known as one of the best in the area, however, with our 2 children we will be leaving next year. They teach so slow and under grade level, it’s really sad to see how far behind the academics of this school are compared to what is being taught in other districts nearby. We came here based off a reputation that is sadly no longer viable. The accommodations for the gifted children are marginally better, however what is being taught in gifted rooms appears to be what should actually be being taught in regular rooms based on what other districts are teaching. Two of my three children are enrolled here now and have totally different personalities and learning styles and are doing well academically and socially. The teachers are engaged, of you reach out to administration they are helpful and are willing to not just work with parents but the kids directly too which is an excellent life learning skill they need. "Gunshots at night it scares the dogs. Most owners don’t pick up after their dogs dropping. Dogs are not on a leash. You will like that many are dog owners. They can bring their pets in most food places with them."
