"I think the neighborhood is pretty good, your normal suburban neighborhood with kids outside playing and dogs walking. "
  • Jason S.
"Its a wonderful place to raise kids and make new friends You can go fishing in your back yard Play bags out front of your house with your neighbors "
  • Lina G. P.
"This is a great family neighborhood. Everyone takes care of their homes and it feels safe to walk at night. "
  • Mary M.
"I’ve lived here since I was in preschool, I’m an adult now. It’s a very slow paced area, but we’ve gotten two hotels in the past 5 years, so that will hopefully grow us commercially. It’s a safe area, with mostly families in every neighborhood. With decent schools for every age in the area(that I’ve goin to). There’s not a lot of shopping, we have to travel to joliet for the nearest mall(25 min commute). All in all, I suggest Minooka and neighboring areas for families, or if you work in the city and are okay with a 40-50 min commute."
  • Adam S.
"Nice sidewalks and plenty of parks that are dog friendly. I usually see at least one or two dogs being walked on leashes every time I’m outside. "
  • Sarah H.
"I own three dogs and the only real worry is that I have about them in my neighborhood is the fact that coyotes come through here a lot."
  • chelsealynn1991
"They will be happy anywhere they have responsible owners to care for them. Dogs are happy, they are happier when people clean up their poop."
  • Sandra S.
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for just over 9 years now. This is definitely a family oriented neighborhood. There are lots of young children. "
  • Gcholdon

  • Corey R.
"The people in my neighborhood are kind and everyone look out for each other. And we talk everyday great place to raise your children "
