3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible, my son was bullied on the bus to the point we had to take him to school and pick him up everyday because they would not help. He was constantly picked on during recess because the teachers are more worried about speaking amonst themselves instead of paying attn to what the kids are doing. He was ignored in his classroom and put facing the chalkboard half the year by himself, putting him at a sever disadvantage the following school year. He was 5. If the school can not help a 5yr old, I pity those older that just get left behind.Parent Review5y ago4 Reviews - Stonybrook Middle School (7-8)

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m very disappointed with the lack of communication at this school. As a parent, I expect to be kept informed about what’s going on, but that has not been the case. There seems to be little to no proactive communication with parents, especially when it comes to important academic updates. It’s frustrating to feel left in the dark and only hear from the school when there are behavior-related issues instead of consistent updates that actually help parents support their children.Clear, timely communication and consistent grade updates should be a priority. Parents need to know what’s going on in order to stay involved and help their children succeed.I hope the school works on improving transparency, communication, and overall accountability moving forwardParent Review4mo ago12 Reviews - Warren Central High School

"Bus line is available within a few blocs walk at most. There is a Kroger close by, Washington St. has anything else on bus line needed. "

"Some strays but sidewalks throughout the neighborhood. They installed street lights recently but I wouldn’t walk my little dogs because of stray dogs. Some people don’t put their dogs on leashes either. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood for 8 years. The neighbors are friendly and watch out for each other. Lots of people walk their dogs, ride bikes, walk with their kids around the neighborhood. Homes are well maintained and it’s quiet. "

"Depending on the behavior of your dog it may be hard to take them on walks. Personally my dogs are super friendly and show it by barking and trying to greet them which intimidates other dogs and neighbors "

"Keep to yourself and and eye on your kids. The kids running around without supervision aren’t the ones with trusting parents but the ones causing the trouble usually. "

"It’s safe as long as you lock your stuff up and kind your business. Don’t be where you don’t belong. My particular neighborhood is nice and safe but surrounded by unsavory neighborhoods. When school lets out in the winter and summer, we tend to get a lot of broken car windows and stolen items. "

"I 've lived here 30 years and most of the neighbors have been here at least 10 years so it is not a transit neighborhood although rented homes are appearing more frequent. We wish we could get street lights. We do watch out for one another. "
