3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter goes to this school and have been there since the 9th grade. This school is horrible. There is no discipline in this school. Within the three years that my daughter was there the school had been shutdown on several occasions from a weapons being brought in to the school. Two principals have walked out on the students in mid semester. The children are allowed to wander the halls with no respect for authority. When my daughter failed the 10 grade and should of had summer school I was told there was no money in the budget for special ed and was not able to go to another school for it. She was told she could make up her credits by going to pm school the following year. Pm school didn't start until March in which then she was told she didn't need pm school. with 44 credits needed to graduate 12 grade and them just passing her to the 11th when she obviously should have been left back in the 10th grade how is she suppose to get the remaining 22 credits that is needed if there is no money in the budget for help with special ed students.Parent Review12y ago7 Reviews - Mott Hall V

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is awesome we have camping trips every year for example this year the sevenths grader went to camp mason and had a lot of activity to do also free time and pool time . One reason that I don't like this school is homework detention. Homework detention is if u dont do a homework u have to stay after school for 45 min but overall I like motthallvOther Review12y ago1 Reviews - P.S. 536

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI loved this school when my child attended this school he was going through a transition from ICT to Special education and the school went out of their way to make my child feel comfortable. The teachers worked with him even through all of my child excuses. If there was a problem the parent coordinator would not hesitate to reach out. The parent coordinator treated every child as if they were her own and made you feel comfortable to leave your child at the school. The school also offered parents so many workshops and opportunities to be involved in their child's educational journey.Parent Review10mo ago2 Reviews - Archer Elementary School

"It’s a very diverse friendly neighborhood with multiple parks for children to play in. There are a few schools in the are as well. From public to catholic schools. A con for the neighborhood is parking. This area is very close to the MTA 6 train where you can take a short 15 minute ride to the city. "

"I drive to work so my commute is not too bad. When I took the train it wasn’t bad either. The only issue is it has only one line to Parkchester, and if that line is down it may be a little hassle getting home. Ex: crowded trains "
