"There’s a dog park in the neighborhood that’s part of the Metro Park system. There are also lots of walking trails, sidewalks and smaller neighborhood parks. Dogs are generally well trained and walked on leashes. Most dog owners pick up after their dogs. I don’t hear loud barking at night. Invisible Fences are popular in New Albany. "

"Gorgeous pond, street lawn trees are placed closer together than in most suburbs, streams & creeks are preserved even if they run through front yards or side yards. Environmental considerations are primary. "

"Nice community that has an association fee that pays to keep the grass cut and the snow shoveled. People don't do much above and beyond and the standards aren't the same as the rest of New Albany. We got tired of looking at cars parked in the streets and people decorating their yards w/ less than average knick knacks. There is a lot of infighting on the board and the head of the group is an overly conservative overly political person with his own interest in mind. We were happy to leave. "

"Great area, schools are rated 10 out of 10, best in the nation. Gahana, just down the road, was voted one of the 100 best places to live in the nation. Literally minutes from any type of shopping you may need. Miles and miles of paved walkway for biking, running etc."
