"I have lived in this neighborhood for five years—up to the present, 2026. Every week, you hear gunshots and police sirens, and—unfortunately—car thefts occur. , the HOA issues weekly fines for minor infractions, and the rent keeps going up. Overall, the area isn't bad, provided you have a strong heart."
  • Jennifer Walton
"I commuted to Stanly County Schools for two years. Was fine. "
  • Sarah
"Not a lot of fenced yards but good sidewalks for walking your dogs. There are a lot of people who walk their dogs regularly. "
  • Easther Marcus
"It’s very calm on this side of town, as with every area, it’s very important for parents to make quality time spent with them a priority. "
  • Jessica Crull
"There are a lot of families in the community. Wellington has an active pool community that has community events, swim team, etc. An ice cream truck comes around the neighborhood, and lots of people feel safe exercising, walking their dog in the neighborhood. Greenway connects, so great for running, walking and beautiful scenery. I love it here!"
  • Trulia User

  • Trulia User
"Commute by car but there is transportation here just takes longer to get from place to place so this is why a car is very important so you can move around freely and with ease this place is simply STELLAR "
  • Trulia User

"My husband I moved here about 6 years ago, fresh out of college. And I can’t say enough about how it’s enriched our growing family. I’m a city girl from NY and my husband is from the south, this area is a perfect middle. It’s also growing so quickly, so many shops and places to eat. We love it, and will miss it when we go. "
  • Nichole B. F. .

  • Scmarine843
"I wouldn't label it as unique, but it's a fairly quiet neighborhood in the center of the Northlake and Concord areas with quick access to I-485, 85 and 77."
  • Tracye R.
"I visited this area/apartment on 6/25/19. The apartment was well maintained, clean in excellent condition. Great price for 2br in this area. Over 1100 sq ft. Only downfall for me was being located on 3rd floor. "
  • Mochajam21
"Great pool, neighborhood & public parks close by, nice walking trail & well maintained grounds overall. Public schools for the neighborhood aren’t that great, so I would recommend alternatives like charter or private schools."
  • Camille P.
"This is an ideal location with easy access to 485 beltway. UNC Charlotte and great shopping nearby. "
  • Joanne
"There aren’t any community events it seems like most people keep to themselves. Kids don’t come outside...people are nice just off to themselves "
  • Joanne
"Ok but needs to be accessible to shops gas stations and restaurants within walking distance. It’s accessible to the highway within 5-7 minutes but for kids and teens to get to places it’s not convenient enough."
  • jo
"I haven’t heard of any community events in this area yet. Just recently relocated. The neighbors seem to keep to themselves but they are pleasant. "
  • Freeflh
"Great people and nice location. There are events around the area and everything is growing in relation to surrounding area. "
  • Sam.lee.elizabeth.robinson
"Wish it was closer to good dog parks. Otherwise the neighborhood has sidewalks and dog poop stations (their could be more but they’re available) that are great for walking dogs."
  • Neighborly Friend
"Quiet, traditional neighborhood. Beautiful trees and peaceful. Close to shopping plazas and easy access to I-485."
  • Dawn T.
"Dog friendly neighborhood! People constantly walking dogs on leash or occasionally hear a dog barking from fenced in yard"
