3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt was decent up until last year. I feel it has been nit picking. The rules only apply when they want them too. But your suppose to accept how the they hand out discipline. last year my son was asked to sign something stating he understood what his punishment for, when do we allow children under the age of 18 to sign for ANYTHING without a adult?? I told my child to NEVER sign anything with out me being there, jif this means they have to wait then so be it but his signature is to never be on anything with out me being present. Even talk with the superintendent she couldn't tell me where in their rules it said students under 18 are allowed to sign, I knew she wouldn't find it cause your not allowed to do it BY LAW!!.. be careful sending your children here and if you do please keep a watchful eye.Parent Review5y ago - Belden Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have gone there and last few years they were great . Mrs clark is a angel an the principal an teachers an assistants all of them are respectful and ask if you need anything. This year seems to be Rocky since they went from k-2 to k-6. Hopefully they pull it together . I feel it was a mistake to put so many grades together an feel the kids will miss out on the staff being able to know and connect with the students.Parent Review2y ago - Crenshaw Middle School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt was an okay school my kid met some good friends, met some terrible teachers and students. Rules at this school only matter and are in place when you get wrongfully accused for something you did not do. My child has medically diagnosed migraines that get worse cause by heat and lights Sometimes the migraines even leave my child unable to stand or walk for short periods of time. Apparently, the teachers don't care the teacher accused my child of "trying to sleep in class". My child was sent to Take 5 (their detention room) for a bad migraine and was almost given detention until my child emailed me to tell me what was going on. Another con about this school is they don't do much when it comes to bulling, if a student is being bullied to the point where they have had food thrown at them and been told to kill themselves would you want your child to still attend there? I sure didn't but waited for my child to tell me something about the bully getting their punishment. Only for nothing to be don't until THE LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL. The bully got 2 days of in-school detention while my child had to take several weeks off school to better their mental health.Parent Review1y ago - Mckinley High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePCMS is the perfect blend. Our son is thriving academically, but also spends time learning about the world, art, and music. Best of all, he's allowed to move! The Montessori environment allows kids to work at his/her own pace and learn independence.Parent Review2y ago - Choices Alternative School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from Choices in 2006. I am extremely thankful to have had the opportunity to complete my high school education. I was not heading down the right path and Choices gave me an opportunity to correct and excel in life. 13 years later and I am a successful IT Professional in the Army with an Associates degree, multiple industry certifications, 2 articles published in technical journals, and 3 classes away from completing my B.S in Cyber Security. Choices truly gave me an opportunity to change my life.Other Review4y ago - Canton Arts Academy @ Summit

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was encouraged to bring my child to this school for the CHAP program. There is nothing accelerated at this school with the exception of 30 minus of "intense" at the end of a day. Children are not encouraged in their own strengths and the classrooms are over crowded. Trying to get updates on grades or progress outside of report cards is almost impossible.Parent Review1y ago - Canton City Digital Academy

"They would like it very much it’s nice. There is a lot of dogs in this area. The streets are nice and well kept. People go on a lot of walks and kids play outside. It has sidewalks and a lot of streets that are nice to walk around. I would think more than half the residents own dogs. "

"I've lived in Colonial Heights since 2006. The area is peaceful--the only chaos we get are transient cars moving from outside areas using us as a through-way--and the neighbors are awesome. I love the garage sales drive we have once a year, the plant sale, the flyers monthly to keep you up to date on what's going on, the FB page where neighbors communicate what's going on (excellent for power outages!), and the meetings at the church just a few blocks over. There's a library within walking distance, a Rite Aid and a Dollar General just up a little and just a short bike ride away is Giant Eagle. Down a dozen blocks to the east is a Walmart and shopping hub, and we're not too far from Belden Village. Mercy Medical/Cleveland Clinic is just 8 miles/minutes away by highway. Then also SARTA 103 runs down Gibbs, Colonial, and Rowland to help people keep mobile! I LOVE THIS NEIGHBORHOOD!"
