At Annie Camp Jr. High School, 22% of students scored at or above the proficient level for math, and 34% scored at or above that level for reading. The scores are low because of all the DISTRACTIONS in the classrooms. The principal didn't take it seriously when I told him about the DISTRACTIONS. I transferred my child to a local school that more than doubled Annie Camp Jr Highs scores. Don't set your children up for failure. Send them to a different school.

I transferred my kids from another school and immediately noticed a difference in their experience. Educators and staff seem genuinely happy to be there, and the positive environment is contagious. When I suggested we might move to homeschooling for our older kids, my son asked if he could wait until he finished at International Studies!Every request or question I've had has been responded to quickly and with care. I highly recommend this school.

Teachers and administration sincerely care about the kiddos! I have one kid totally interested in the performance (plays) part of the school, and one who completely does not have any interest in that aspect. BOTH my kiddos love the school and have experienced great success here!

My daughter received great instruction in science and a well rounded education. The academic experience prepared them for higher education.

While the student population at Math and Science is very challenging (high poverty, highly mobile), the staff meets those challenges head on with the expectation that every student can learn, regardless of outside circumstances. The teachers love the students and get along with one another. That may sound strange, but I've taught in schools where the staff drama was a distraction from the learning that should have been taking place. The parents of the students I work with are helpful, respectful, and cooperative. It is a team effort to help children succeed!

Terrible school. High levels of racism...do not recommend.
