3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a year long substitute teacher in 2022-2023, taking over 4 computer science classes and one PreCalculus Class. The students in these classes were very respectful. Every student rose and recited the pledge of allegiance aloud. Students worked daily with their chromebooks as well as whatever handouts I distributed. I was a computer design engineer in my previous life, so I occasionally found computer science assignments as well as cybersecurity assignments for the students to do. The student enthusiasm was refreshing. Some seniors in my classes had taken AP BC Calculus as juniors and received a 5, so the potential to perform above and beyond exists. Teacher meetings were thoughtful regarding the interesting things and unenthusiastic about routine things forced upon them. I liked that. Principal Adams seems to strike the proper balance between organic and bureaucratic leadership - also refreshing. I liked it well enough to return for a 3 month stint this coming September. Parents are involved because kids are well-behaved. Some come forward as necessary. The students are encouraged, but not pushed to perform. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCute little school. Principal and staff are amazing and they will know you by name. There are a lot of outside extracurricular activities that the principal and staff offer throughout the year. I believe most of the children seem to be at level or preform above grade level. Teachers take bullying seriously and needs of the students. Staff works together with parents as a team. My kids are young and didn’t go through older grades yet. So far the Kindergarten and 1st grade teachers are amazing. I heard parents do not like one upper grade teacher because she sits at her desk all day but that is the only complaint I heard.Parent Review2y ago - Manchester Twp Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just moved to stafford nj and we have a shooting threat in Toms River, and barnaget and yet stafford went into lock down and Manchester did NOT go into lock down. I also got thrown to the ground by a class mate for waiting for our teacher to get there 8th period.Parent Review3y ago
