I love this school especially Mrs Sharkey she is a great teacher. Mrs Sharkey will work with you and your child if they are having problems. I only wish that they had full days kindergarten but they do learn a lot for the time that they are there.

My family was new to the area, the district, and the community, and unfortunately our experience at this school was not positive. From the very beginning, something felt off in my interactions with certain staff members. At first, I tried to ignore it — I assumed I was overthinking because we were new. But as the school year went on, those concerns grew.One of the school leaders would regularly stand and watch me in a way that felt uncomfortable, and although he would quietly say “good morning,” the interactions felt more unsettling than welcoming. I brushed it off at first, but the feeling never went away.As issues came up, I tried to communicate with both my children and the school. My kids are young, so I don’t blame them for not recognizing when something wasn’t right. But when I, as a parent, brought up both general concerns and very specific incidents to the adults in charge, I was repeatedly told that nothing was happening. That alone was concerning, because it made it seem like problems were being minimized or ignored.Later, I learned that my children had experienced behavior from a teacher that was inappropriate and unprofessional. I had already spoken to that teacher, who insisted nothing was wrong. When I brought it to school leadership, the response was vague and dismissive — no denial, no explanation, no accountability. The situation escalated to the point where I explicitly asked that no one speak to my children without me present, and that boundary was still ignored.Overall, communication was poor, concerns were brushed aside, and I did not feel that my children were safe or supported. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this school. Families deserve transparency, respect, and a learning environment where children are protected and taken seriously.

the school is great but they just need for the bell not to ring to soon

This school is the WORST!! not only is it over crowed but there are fights that break out all the time, it feels unsafe to come into school ever day but even if we do we don't learn anything. the school lumps in kids who are obv struggling with kids who dont try. if you need help dont brother going here, because they wont pay attention to you because they focused on getting the fights under control. and not only that but the kids are super mean. not to mention theyres no lunch room anymore so.... the only strengths are the classes and after school activities . dont go here its a hot MESSSSSs

My son is going to middle school and he is always talking about the his school I love it and he loves it to
