We’ve had exceptional Gen Ed teachers, and average Gen Ed teachers. We’ve had so many special Ed teachers, they don’t stay and high turnover is connected to poorly run department. Testing is based too heavily on standardized test scores and not assessment data for creating IEP goals. Parent input is often ignored. Special education at this school ranks a 1.

"This is a beautiful area in which to live in. The school is absolutely wonderful. I am a teacher in another district but have visited GVS and they are outstanding. The recreational activities abound here and crime is low to none."
