  • Cadavissr31
"Plenty of kids to play with just don't leave them outside by themselves. As there is nothing for them to do which causes the to find trouble more than not."

"I live here my whole life. It very friendly . Close to Haskell park. There is a farmers market down town. Not to far from stl. "
  • Kayla
"The neighbor is quiet and your houses aren’t right on top of each other. Their is plenty of parks for kids. The school is a good school. "
  • TT
"I've lived here for 22 years, neighbors are great. However, crime is up and riffraff about so safety concerns now that never worried about before."
  • Someonewhoknows2
"This is a beautiful neighborhood with a lot of diversity. It has character and old fashion appeal. Large homes, duplex and apartments with its originality. The community has survived the worst although the love and spirit of the city is here. Perfectly located in the middle of everything, the smell of Fast Eddies Chicken or fried rice from the Hong Kong house decorates the air. I love it here, it’s safe with the beautiful mixture of people from all walks of life. Like with any city this area has its flaws, yet the flaws is what makes the beauty of it all!"
  • Patricialucas78
"easily commute I love my area of town and hope to find a house in my area. love love love it. want to grow old in my area and I raised my kids here too."
  • Claudiaharju
"My neighborhood has fair to good access to public bus transportation. We can drive very easily to Missouri ( 3 mi. to the Louis Clark Bridge.) and surrounding towns in Illinois. I live in the Middletown area in Alton and love it."
  • Laurincbuettner
"We are a tourist attraction because we are supposed to be one of the most haunted cities in America. "
  • Dhowardmbc
"Live in a unique condo in a one of a kind building. Have wonderful view of the Mississippi River. Brick streets. very friendly neighbors."
