SHORT TERM -1-6 months depending on availability and check in date. - Located 'West of the Trail' in South Venice, this pet friendly, non-smoking, two bedroom, two bath house is decorated tastefully with attention to detail and with a light coastal feel. No ugly, mismatched, garage sale furniture here!! Lush, comfortable furniture and bedding. New flooring. Bedrooms are carpeted. Spacious dinette area off of a roomy kitchen. Large living room with new couches. Cozy bedrooms with plenty of lamps. Master bedroom has a private bath with new vanity, comfort height toilet, and roomy, walk in shower. large closet. Second bedroom, twin beds & large closet. Full updated second bath in hall with new vanity and comfort height toilet! New washer & dryer, WiFi Modem in house and new, 43" HDTV. Live tv streaming (same as cable) that you can also used on your laptops around the house. House features a charming, enclosed, in-screened lanai allowing for privacy with a feel of classic old Florida. Large, comfy wicker chairs. Driveway parking. House sits on a manicured lawn on large park-like, double lot with mature shady trees including, tall Pines, huge old oak and a beautiful Palm in front which gives a lot of privacy and shade. Yard is not fenced for pets. Signed rental agreement/contract required. No cancellations inside of six months prior. Some exceptions would be made

Private rental insurance is mandatory for any tenant in lieu of a damage/security deposit. (Seasonal months are considered November through April and rent by the month) In-season months, entire month will be charged despite when you check in or check out.. Amount of advance deposit will be determined by landlord.
Payment in full required 90 days before rental.
All pet requests must be disclosed with landlord first at inquiry.

This is a seasonal rental only. 3-6 months. It is a vacation rental. Contract and rental agreement must be signed.

    "The EastGate neighborhood is a hidden gem. There are a number of nice, older homes on good-sized lots, with many being upgraded with every new owner or already renovated. There are also many future opportunities as you look around. It's a perfect location between historic downtown Venice on the Island, and east to I-75 and the new areas being built out there. There's a Publix a block over and Venice Avenue isn't as busy as Route 41. Even with all the growth and new development, this part of Venice remains low-key and very pleasant. The homes here are a good value for the money and worth either buying and renovating, or buying an upgraded one. One of the best areas in the city that is not on the island, and my family has been here since the early 90s."
