They have worked with families, students, staff, community members and partners to become a Community School, where all voices are heard as part of their collaborative leadership efforts. Students have more opportunities to be leaders in their education and across the campus. Families are able to participate in frequent (if not monthly) events and have a high-level of communication, participation and partnership with classroom teachers and support staff. Partners and Community members have joined together with the school to increase access for students and staff, while also becoming advocates for the school. Staff have successfully worked with one another and students to increase student learning year-after-year as measured by state and district assessments. The school takes measures to address community and home barriers with a food pantry, clothing closet, hygiene support, Kicks (shoe) for school, Empowering Parents (learning resources for the home), and advocating with the community to create a safety environment for all (such as new streetlights and sidewalks, and partnering with the community to install sewer systems) all with the goal to increase student access to classroom supports, expanded and enriched learning time and create partnership with families. "Traffic in the area is rough. There is not enough lanes to accommodate the flow of traffic and they are putting up too many new developments. Traffic is a complete nightmare during rush hour. A drive that use to take 20 minutes to downtown has turned into an hour long commute. The county needs to widen the roads and slow down on development because the roads cannot accommodate the traffic flow."

"was cycling and got hit at 60 mph in a 45mph zone by a vision teacher Ryan Cuson and he did not have proper insurance and now I'm disabled. this town has a bad meth problem"

"This neighborhood is very family friendly. The restaurants and stores are very close and the schools are within walking distance. Most people go the speed limit and are very cautious for kids and most of the neighbors are very nice to everyone. "
