Upcountry Maui. Lower Kimo Drive is one of the most desirable spots in Kula due to it ranch lands and views, Privacy is also one of its benefits as the neighbors have larger parcels. The weather pattern here is different as it is BELOW the fog line and therefore less "cold" during the winter...but still at the 2750 foot elevation. Cool but not cold. The wind and rain does not hit this area as much as other parts of Kula.

    "Many dogs in the area. Majority of people pick up after their animals but some don’t. Just like anywhere else I’ve lived. No sidewalks so you just have to be aware and tuned into the noise of approaching vehicles. Most, not all, drivers give you a wide berth. "
