    "The Susan Shores Subdivision of Hayes Township in Charlevoix County is located in the Lower Peninsula of Northwestern Michigan. Housing construction in Susan Shores, which is on the Western Shore of Susan Lake, is mixed and generally consists of single family homes on small (1) acre lots.
