It is a part of the Dark Island Association Community located at the edge of Townsend, TN. It is in a desirable location: less than 10 minutes from town (or shorter via walking bridge), 10 minutes from the entrance of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, 30 minutes from Maryville, and 40 minutes from Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg. With river access, this lofted cabin is made of vinyl siding and a metal roof. The entire inside has tongue and groove pine and hardwood pine floors. The cabin is heated and cooled via a PTAC unit. The kitchen, living room and dining area are an open floor plan. The kitchen offers great cabinet space, an island bar, a double sink, microwave, stove/oven combo, and kitchen/freezer combo. The living room has tall windows that overlook the back deck and river. The full bathroom has a shower/bathtub combo. The cabin has a beautiful back deck that runs the entire length of the cabin and overlooks the river, while the front porch runs half the length of the cabin with both having stair access. The underside of the cabin offers a carport with cement slab, 2 swings, and stairs leading down to the river. There are flower beds on the front of the lots and the entire lots are graveled for easy upkeep. The cabin comes partially furnished with an electric fireplace tv stand, queen bed, and living room furniture. You don’t want to miss out on this beautiful, rustic cabin!
