"i don't think dog owners would be faced with anything that's not manageable as well as reasonable. Most of the dog owners that I know in the neighborhood are absolutely satisfied with the arrangements put in place for all neighborhood pets. There are no obscene rules that must be followed. I believe all dog & dog owners will love it here. "
  • Trulia User
"I've only lived here for about 6-8 months and it seems like a decent neighborhood to live in. the hotel cost is high"
  • Trulia User
"Friendly and safe. People are able to safely go for walks. However, there are too many fireworks going off at non-July 4th times"
  • Trulia User
"My spouse and I have lived here for almost 16 years. We are thinking about moving, but only to find more space and a different layout to suit or current needs. Everyone around us are friendly and courteous. The neighborhood is central to main roads and interstates, with plenty of shopping and access from any direction. There are a lot of mature trees and backyard animals to watch. It's usually pretty quiet, no close trains where we live. "
  • Misty B.
"A family based, friendly community with easy access to highways, shopping and dinning options......."
  • Jack
"I live here in Louisville and was born here in Louisville Great place to live and also a great place to eat the community is amazing "
  • Dwain R.
"Many dog owners that walk their dogs in this neighborhood. Most people have fenced in yards as well."
  • Brooke Y.
"My family have lived here for many generations. I've grown up here and have family live a few houses down. Very nice and both cat and dog friendly. many outside cats that like to roam, they do have homes so there's no worries."
  • Brooke Y.
"There is a lot of land in some areas. As long as you have a fence or know your dog won't leave the yard you are perfectly fine."
  • CK
"Subdivision yard sale once a year is nice. I graduated from FCHS. When it was time to buy a house, this was the first place I looked. Still here today. "
  • Supreme L.
"You see people walking there dogs all the time and dog's are welcomed in ferncreek, I would recommend any one in the market for a new home to look into ferncreek! "
  • Shelly N.
"Nice, quiet, and clean neighborhood. There is a park close by and plenty of shopping. There aren't really community events in Fern Creek. "
  • Kendra V.
"public transports available however we find it best to get around by car. say hi to my neighbors but not outside my neighborhood. not a bad place but not fantastic "
  • Kendra V.
"there are none. kids shooting up in drive ways? we're trying to move out! pet friendly, mediocrity friendly, "
  • Ambee E.
"It's a great community to live in, close to everything, nice people, good schools. I have always lived here "
  • A
"Convenient to most of Louisville. Easy expressway access. Rush hour can be dicey at times.knowing backroads is a plus"
  • danielle
"the weather feels nice (most of the time) there is lots of room to walk your dog, there is not a bunch of people outside at the same time, the size of the neighborhood is not too big or too small, and other dog walkers never leave their dog’s poop on there lawn. There really isn’t anything that they wouldn’t like about living in our neighborhood."
  • Mjconnors15
"Great area to raise a family. I’ve currently lived here for 31 years and enjoyed the park systems very much. There is always something to do in Fern Creek."
  • Anthony H.
"My neighborhood is very dog friendly, and many of the neighbors walk their pups regularly on my street. "
  • Akmilby13
"Close to multiple beautiful parks with lots to do! Tons of restaurants and grocery stores. I do not recommend walking as a safe mode of transport here. I will say I can find anything I need in 5 minutes and I can get anywhere in about 20."
  • Goson30
"sweet neighborhood to raise the kids community don't do nothing for the people & charging almost $200 a year .that bill is on time never fails "
  • Natalia A.
"you can always find back ways to stay away from traffic. 264 and 265 along with 65 are the most congested areas during peak hours. "
  • Ambee E.
"I grew up here and it's a great community still. I feel safe here and am close to everything. This is the only area I would want to live in. "
  • Shelly N.
"Not sure. Not a dog owner. I'm very allergic to dogs. I guess because most of the houses have fences it's a nice area for them. "
  • Sherice a. S. D. I.
"Not to let young children run around outside alone. Accidents easily happen when children are unattended and everyone's vehicles are out there and some how they keep ending up with scratches and random little dents."
  • Christy M. P.
"I work at the Airport so the traffic can be pretty bad. I take Fern valley to 65 and it gets very backed up in the areas near all the businesses. "
  • Sherice a. S. D. I.
"where I am staying right now is very pet friendly. some pet owners do not keep their animals on leashes though."
  • Ashleycosman95
"There isn’t much crime here. Right next to Gene Snyder so yeah we have kroger and Walmart here to so it’s pretty awesome. "
  • Missjane1225
"I have lived in Fern Creek for 15 years. I love being far from the crowded mall areas and it's friendly here."
