2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI will start by saying that the only great quality this school has is my child's teacher (1st year in the school as a kinder) Now let's talk a little about the bad qualities. *I do not like that the holiday festivities take place in the classrooms (this is why auditoriums exist in our schools, right?) The classrooms at least in regards to my child is not big enough to have 30 parents in there plus other children that parents bring along with them.*I do not like that parents are stopped by the security guards in the morning when dropping off the children. Meaning that you, the parent are not allowed to go pass the entrance door to drop off your child. *I do not like that the only way to communicate with your child's teacher is at dismissal when every other child's parent is picking up their child (which you, the parent can't voice your concerns let alone get privacy to voice those concerns)Bottom line is I, as a parent want to be involved in my child's day to day life as a student and P.S 32 BELMONT SCHOOL does not make me feel welcomed. I should be able to communicate with my child's teacher and not feel like I am dropping off my child at a jail with the security guard looking at me with a face as if my 5 year old is a criminal. A parent-teacher partnership is what I would want as a parent and unfortunately, this school is not allowing that. I hope it becomes a more family friendly environment because not being able to walk my child into the school or not being able to have conversations with the teacher on a one on one basis gives me a distaste about this school which is why my child cannot continue to attend this school. I hope its administration makes some improvements for the sake of the children who attend this school.Parent Review9y ago6 Reviews - Jhs 118 William W Niles

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHonestly, this school is not that bad but the students are out of control. Like I'm being honest here the students are wild but the teachers don't do anything about it and that's what's concerning. They have no respect whatsoever and they start actual fights and fires. Once I saw a girl vape in the bathroom and that was NOT okay. Please if you are a parent monitor your child because there are so many irresponsible parents who let their middle schoolers do whatever. Thats unacceptable! Parents are just letting their kids do whatever these days and they are always so careless!Student Review2y ago4 Reviews - Bronx Academy For Software Engineering
