I attended this school, and compared to the other high school I also attended, this school has better everything, although not by much. Still, compared to Sachse, this school falls short in some areas. Still worth more than the 3.2 of my other High School.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this needs to be said.My minor child was wrongfully accused after a teacher misheard a statement and chose to act on assumption instead of fact. Because of that, my child was pulled, questioned, searched, and forced to write a statement all without my knowledge or consent.Let me be very clear: I was not contacted until after the school had already completed their investigation. At no point was I given the opportunity to be present while my child was being questioned or searched. That is completely unacceptable.What makes this worse is that once it was clear this situation was based on a misunderstanding, no apology was given to my child. Instead, he was told to “be mindful of what he says,” even though he said nothing wrong. The issue was not my child — it was a staff member who acted on what they thought they heard and failed to verify before escalating.There was no accountability on the school’s end. None. When I addressed this with administration, my concerns were dismissed and minimized as me simply “advocating” for my child. No ! this is about how quickly a child can be treated like a problem based on an adult’s mistake, and how little responsibility is taken when they get it wrong.Parents, please pay attention. If this can happen over something that was misheard, imagine how other situations are handled behind closed doors. Your child can be questioned, searched, and put in a serious situation without you even knowing until it’s already done.Based on my experience, I would not recommend this school. Do your research and ask hard questions before trusting them with your child.

I just wanted to say that the school is really not doing great right now. The staff is super rude and unhelpful most of the time. It feels like they don’t care, and it makes the whole place uncomfortable.Also, the school is really messy. The bathrooms are gross, the hallways are dirty, and classrooms don’t look taken care of. It’s not okay for students to be in that kind of environment every day.

This place has gone downhill since Mrs. Bailey and so many good people left. The principal is awful and literally hates kids. It's so sad to see where this school is now compared to how wonderful it was just a few years ago. We are pretty disappointed. I would not recommend this school to anyone anymore.

this school has always been terrible and will always be

This my sons second year at Toler. My wife and I cannot imagine a better school. The teachers and staff leave nothing to be desired. Everyone works very hard for the kids. Toler has year after year (yes, before our son was attending) ranked among the highest across the board. Do not let anyone discourage you from sending your young ones there. They will be in good hands. My son grew and learned so much with them in just one year it blew us away. We know this year will be just as amazing.

The staff is pretty rude to my child he had said that some of the staff is rude and unfair especially the computer person he had said that he is being targeted and keep getting block from using his computer even when he said he could have free time after a test although some of the teacher is pretty nice to him

Even though i'm new to this school, the teachers are all Respectful, they offer lots of help, and they help you work your way up with your speech, I would highly recommend this school, It's great for all kids to learn there.

I do NOT recommend this school. They do not care about the personalities of the people they hire, just that they will work. So many rude teachers and administrators at this school, not to mention it is insanely disorganized and not safe for kids to grow. There are fights constantly, most go unreported because the teachers don’t care enough to do anything about it. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD’S MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH, DO NOT ENROLL THEM HERE! I also suspect they have substandard teaching levels, as both kids have needed tutoring at this school but have not struggled before they transferred here.

I went here for 3 years and this place was HORRIBLE!!! TEACHERS DON'T CARE ABOUT THE STUDENTS!!!
