As someone who graduated from this school, I felt like it was really average ( I didn't hate it until I didn't want to go but it definitely didnt love it) the stuff they teach are really easy. On like the second week of first grade they werent even teaching stuff like 1+1 (by the way that was an actual problem) they don't really support advanced stuff either. I took their test for the advanced class but apparently people began protesting and saying it wasn't fair but how is it not? Kids who passed the test just need that education but the school somehow AGREED to it, canceled the advanced class, and replaced it with some other 'enrichment' math class. I can also see kids in the non enrichment class didn't want to learn either. It really was just messing around but at least it was a little interesting and the teacher was nice.Speaking of teachers, some of them are nice but some are not. When I was is 1-3 grade I felt like everything was ok but then when I got to 4th grade I figured the paras were very biased against older kids. There was one ( I won't say the name) that especially liked to bully the 5th graders. When kids in another class were telling jokes to each other, they were laughing and having a good time. Then that para came and told the kids to stop talking and with a heavy attitude and told the principal the 5th grade lunch is really bad and chaotic. Since the new principal is also very biased against us, she took out a separate day, claiming it was a 5th grade lunch bonding or whatever and spent the whole time that was supposed to be enjoyable into seriously talking about how we should immediately obey what the paras said no matter what they wanted us to do. Only a small fraction of teachers are responsible. For the fifth grade, we barely did science or social studies. Buses are bad too because we literally have to wait half an hour in a hot sweaty bus just for it to leave the school. Imagine how much time that wastes! 30mins a day, about 180 school days! That's 5400 minutes worth of waiting in a hot sweaty bus! There's also close to zero homework. How does the school expect kids to study well if they don't give any homework? See, if they give a little homework, kids would have better test scores so they can review what they learned and parents would stop complaining and the school might open the advanced classes again! The school is pretty and the recess yard is well maintained, but I still would not recommend going here.

Both my girls graduated from GVHS, went on to college, and are professionals in their field of nursing and education.

We have a 2nd grader at concord and the experience has been wonderful. Our student looks forward to going to school every day. The teachers are attentive, responsive to parents and most importantly seem to really care about the kids. The administrators seem to support their teachers well. Transportation has been reliable and friendly. Our daughter has learned so much, and seems to be genuinely enjoying it.

My son, who has learning disabilities, thrived at GVMS. His teachers pushed him enough to help to keep him motivated but supported him in his learning. The school really partnered with me to ensure that my son succeeded.
