"I have lived here for almost 4 years, & neighbors in my stretch of my street are great & look after each other!"
  • Trulia User
"this area is a mixture. it's both safe and unsafe. There's hot spots for crime and just acouple blocks away it's safe"
  • Trulia User
"A lot of homeless everywhere! Cars and motorcycles racing 24/7 with little to no police visible. Random people knocking at door! People yelling in the streets at night. Random vehicles park on the street that appear to be homeless. "
  • Trulia User
"Great family friendly neighborhood! We all know each other and wave when we see each other. Very quit neighborhood at night"
  • Trulia User
"New and changing area. Many renovations help attract new buyers. There's racing at night! Many restaurants and parks for kids. "
  • Trulia User
"It’s a neat area between clearly defined neighborhoods. Residential with a touch of transience to it. "
  • Trulia User
"This is a decent neighborhood. Trick or treating is always nice. Just wish they're were more places to rent at that didn't price gouge the property. "
  • Monica G.
"Imperial beach is a grey place to live and grow a family. I know almost 9/10 people always come back. Everything is so close and the beach is life "
  • Trulia User
"good area great for family's lots of animal lovers around the area lots of dogs can be nice weather for sunsets"
  • Allisonmanter
"Easy commute to military bases, downtown, airport, and freeways. Beach near by with a handful of parks. Also access to easy shopping. "
  • Daisy C.
"Commute within IB is good, but to get out of IB I'd a different story. The are only 2 ways out to catch the 5, so traffic gets backed up. "
  • Monica G.
"I’ve lived in IB for 20 years and absolutely love it. Moved to Chula Vista for a year and came back home. "
  • Lynneritz13
"Considering how many houses there are and how close the houses are this neighborhood is very quiet. We are close to the Tijuana river valley park lands so there are trials to hike, bike and lots of horses to ride. "
  • Richard.mills
"I take the strand, hwy 75 to Coronado and the over the Coronado bridge. The traffic on the strand is usually very good. The bridge can be trouble if you take it at the wrong time. "
  • Axel_jrf_busn
"place you wish you were in. certainly very friendly, very low with crime and such, very friendly on top if that, you can also mind your own, pretty good."
