"Horrible place to live. Generally a poor representation of human intellect. Tremendous attitude of entitlement. If you are a working tax paying professional, you are looked at as a sucker and will be taken advantage of. Illicit drug use is prevalent. "

"Not many walk dogs. Most dogs kept behind gates in this part of the city. It is really a great place to live. It is a great place to retire. Thanks"

"Lake City is a small town, 45 mins north of Gainesville 1hr and 10 mins west of Jacksonville. Lake City has some shopping but for a ‘real’ mall you need to go to Jacksonville or Gainesville."
- TJHoppes

"Not many dogs. Road is too busy to walk dogs safely and no shoulder or bike path on road. Neighbors either have tiny inside dogs or bigger dogs in fenced yard."
- Aarona22

"This area is not much for growth. It mainly serves for the elderly. Not really a good area for successful business or young entrepreneurs. You could raise a family here, sure but not worth staying."

"There are many dogs everywhere, everyone has a dog in town so be careful having one outside. And if you are walking be careful because there are a lot of stray dogs that are harmful because of owners actions. Other then that it’s okay. "
