It's clear that parents don't pay attention to their children these days, so if your not one of those parents them keep an eye on yours at all times. This isn't a neighborhood I would let my child out to play.... period!!!"

      "High crime area. High unemployment area. Near buses and Metra trains. Near lakefront and Rainbow beach. Area use to be nice, clean blue collar in the seventies. Decline started in the eighties and nineties (relocation of people from demolished housing developments) to areas nearby. Improvement might come sometime in the future because of location to the lake."
