Leesburg Elementary is an incredibly welcoming and warm school community. From the moment you walk through the doors, it’s clear that students are truly known, valued, and cared for. The staff as a whole are amazing and go above and beyond to support students not only academically, but also emotionally and physically. There is a genuine sense that every child matters here.Leesburg does an outstanding job of building strong connections with families through a wide variety of events held throughout the year. Opportunities like Breakfast with Santa, Donuts with Grown-Ups, Family Skate Nights, Literacy Night, and many others help create meaningful family engagement and make the school feel like a true community hub.One of the school’s standout strengths is its Dual Language Immersion program. Students are immersed in Spanish for 50% of the day in a thoughtfully designed program that supports them in becoming bilingual and biliterate. Even more impressive is that the district continues this program into middle and high school, providing students with long-term, meaningful language development.Communication at Leesburg Elementary is another major strength. Families are well-informed at both the classroom and building levels. All staff consistently use ParentSquare to support clear, timely communication between school and home, creating strong partnerships with families.Overall, Leesburg Elementary is a truly exceptional school. It is a place where students are supported, families are welcomed, and learning happens in an environment filled with care, connection, and high expectations.

This school is doing so many amazing things for students and the community at large, but I want to take a moment to specifically talk about Coach Lenny Krebs and the girls basketball program. I currently have a fifth grader who is just getting started with basketball, so you may wonder why I would be writing a review on the high school basketball program! I was shocked as well. This past year my daughter has participated in a girls 3-on-3 basketball clinic and a Travel Basketball program. Being new to the Warsaw program, we didn't know what to expect really...In both of these offerings, Coach Lenny Krebs and others from the High School Basketball program personally provide support and coaching to these students. This includes fifth grade through eight grade students throughout the school district. What an incredible investment into these future students. As a parent, I've attended observed several of these sessions and have been very impressed at the quality of coaching and support being offered. My daughter has drastically improved due to Coach Krebs and the other dedicated individuals. Thank you Warsaw High School for investing in the future students in your community, this is awesome to see, and we are so thankful for being able to participate!

Our oldest son enjoyed his two years at Lakeview and our middle son is enjoying his first year. Lakeview provided a great environment for them to excel and mature. Lakeview prepared our oldest for his freshman year.
