Description

Large 4 bedroom 2 bath home with swimming pool and single garage.

This is a beautiful, large family home which has old Florida charm and original terrazzo floors which keeps the place cool and ensures better quality of air given that there are no carpet fibers in the home.

This home was totally renovated in 2013 with a new kitchen (with solid timber cabinetry, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances), new bathrooms (again with solid timber cabinetry). There are light fittings with fans, built in cupboards/wardrobe space in 3 of the 4 bedrooms and even crown molding in this home.

The quality of workmanship in this home is not typical of a rental home which is why we are looking for the absolute right tenant who while enjoying this home also cares for it.

You will note that the rental rate that has been advertised is low for a home of this size, style and quality. This is deliberate on our part because we want to attract the best possible tenant to this property. We rather keep the property vacant than place the wrong tenant at this property.

From this home, you can walk to the end of the street (less than 1 minute) and see the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean which feeds into the Halifax River. Indeed you can walk to the Ormond Beach Pier, the Library, City Hall, Casson Park, the Bridge and even to the Beach! There are small park areas along Beach Street to sit and watch the water - for example less than a 5 minute walk away at Melrose and Beach Streets.

This home is on a large fenced block with the pool and a shed.

The owner provides within the advertised rental at no extra cost to the Tenant:
* Lawn mowing
* Pool maintenance

There is a sprinkler system connected to a well. While regular lawn mowing is provided, the Tenants are required to maintain the yard (example includes the occasional pruning of small plants and weeding). Also, while a weekly pool service is provided, it is expected that the Tenant will clean the surrounding area of the pool and basically look after the pool.

The laundry hook up is accessible in garage. (The garage is accessible from near the kitchen.)

The tenant is responsible to connect to their own water and electric meters.

We cannot accommodate pets and smokers.

We will undertake a stringent reference check before we commit to a lease with a suitable tenant. Also we will need to know more about you before we provide an appointment for you to view the property.

Tenant is responsible for water, cable and electric.

The Landlord will pay for a lawn mowing service, however, Tenant is required to maintain the yard (example includes the occasional pruning of plants (not trees) and weeding).

The Landlord will also provide a regular pool maintenance service however, the Tenant is required to keep the pool and surrounds clean and functional.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources. This description is from February 08, 2025
