9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family's experience at Wilson has been truly exceptional, and we're so sad to be leaving as we relocate to Fort Lauderdale. Our oldest son thrived at Wilson from 5th to 8th grade. With an IEP, he received incredible academic support from dedicated teachers who were deeply invested in his success. Discovering Cross Country in 6th grade was a revelation for him, especially with his ADHD; it was an absolute game-changer.Our youngest daughter just completed 4th grade, and her teachers were an absolute joy. They provided a loving, caring, and structured environment that made her classroom a safe and nurturing space. As a PTO member, I've seen firsthand how fortunate Wilson is to have such an amazing leadership group. These parents genuinely care about the school's success, working tirelessly all year to fundraise and organize family events that bring together teachers, staff, parents, and students. We truly have an incredible school community with very involved parents.Beyond academics and community involvement, Wilson offers a fantastic array of after-school enrichment programs including Band, Choir, Art, STEM, and year-round sports for middle schoolers.Wilson is an amazing school, and we'll deeply miss being a part of the Wilson family.Parent Review11mo ago18 Reviews - Copper Creek Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is truly inspiring to see an elementary school principal who not only leads one school with excellence, but steps up to guide a second school with the same level of dedication, compassion, and professionalism. Taking on the responsibility of two campuses is no small task, yet our principal has managed it all with grace, vision, and an unwavering commitment to students and staff. What makes her leadership so exceptional is the consistency of care she brings to both schools. She is present, approachable, and deeply invested in creating positive learning environments where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to grow. Despite the increased workload, she never loses sight of what matters most—building strong relationships, supporting teachers, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. Her ability to balance two sets of needs, schedules, cultures, and communities is truly remarkable. She communicates clearly, listens thoughtfully, and makes decisions that reflect both wisdom and empathy. Staff members feel valued, families feel heard, and students benefit from her steady, confident leadership. In a time when educational challenges are greater than ever, having a principal who can not only manage but truly excel in serving two schools is extraordinary. Her dedication sets a powerful example and makes a meaningful difference every single day.We are incredibly fortunate to have such a strong, caring, and capable leader at the helm. Both schools are undeniably better because of her.Parent Review5mo ago11 Reviews - Ironwood Ridge High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated in 2023 and can confidently say this is the worst high school in Arizona. Many teachers have left or are leaving due to the sad excuse for an administration. They do not care about you what so ever. From bullying, wrongful suspensions, black mold poisoning, racism, etc this is a horrible school and would not recommend for any students wishing to have a good high school experience. It is sad to see what it has become over the years. Even now the administration continues to be unorganized And unprofessional.Other Review6mo ago21 Reviews - Amphi Academy at El Hogar

"I work by the university and there is no freeway so it takes about 35 minutes to get to midtown. Tucson is only about 12 minutes and downtown about 30 all because of surface streets with lights that can really slow you down. "

"My particular neighborhood in Oro Valley is not kid friendly because it’s mostly retirees. There aren’t sidewalks and riding bikes in la reserve us kind of tough for a kid because of the hills. Much better areas of Oro Valley for families. "
