"I see lots of dogs being walked by neighbors, so lots of dog friendly folks. Dogs have to be on leashes or kept on the owner’s property and owners have to pick up the poop when walking their dogs. "
  • Carolyn M.

"Great area for pets. Many clean up stations to use for pet disposal. I see several dog owners and plenty of family friendly neighborhoods. "
  • Missmeryllussan
"Don’t trust the judicial system. St.Tammany parish is all about that money honey! Property taxes are ridiculously outrageous! It seems after hurricane Katrina, a lot changed. New people, new attitudes, new accents, and covington grew into a concrete jungle. I live in the north rural part of Covington. It was a quiet town, but it seemed as if everyone knew on another or a family member etc. Parents: the schools are ridiculous now. They do not teach cursive writing in school anymore... I suggest homeschooling your children or sending them to a private school. "
  • Fireyedwitch
"nice area friendly neighborhood quiet most of the time good schools very close to major stores and eateries"
  • Sabrinapolk347
"They always walking with there dog the kids like the dogs there are friendly playful they take the dogs to the park to play ball"

"People are very friendly. Very quaint neighborhood with an old town feel. Everything is super safe. "
  • Anita C.
"Neighborhood is nice and friendly Has neighborhood pool where everyone gets together a couple times a year. "
  • Anitacanafax
"Commute to downtown is long and you have to pay toll for the bridge. Traffic is heavy. I don’t know of any ride sharing to downtown from the north shore "
  • Philip &. L. L.
"great place for couples and kids. local bike trace, kayaking, and paddleboarding. living in Magnolia Gardens allows us to have privacy with 2+ acres. "
