6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an absolutely amazing school, full of great teachers able to handle the fantastic diversity of the local population. Do judge this population by its test scores. There is so much more than that. This is a great strong community and we welcome all. My family is in a position to go to "higher achieving" schools but love Crestview too much! My kids are achivening great things everyday.Parent Review5y ago - Hocker Grove Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is school i DO NOT recommend.if your a girl i do recommend this school if your a girl have fun because every teacher will take your side you can do or say whatever you want and then you will be fine IF YOUR A BOY you will get targetted you wouldnt be able to do anything about it if you talk breathe or even laugh or giggle you get buddy room iss or oss yet the girls do it and nothing happens to them the principal is lazy and targets guys and if you try to stand up from your self they just ignore you the teachers are nice but some target guys and if u breathe they report it to the principal and the principal will call your parents and make it seem like you did something very bad but half the time you didnt do anything the sexist at this school should be fixed but it never willStudent Review2mo ago - Shawnee Mission North High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here for my high school education. The art program is where I spent most of my time and inspired me to become a art teacher myself. Made good friends with the teachers in that program and felt a mutual respect between student and teacher. But in the other departments, there were issues. Fortunately the teachers that went out of their way to be misogynist or unprofessional towards the students left after my graduation. Mr.Ewers is a great principle from what I remember, making an effort to get to know the students on a individual level. The counselors did their best but often but their opinion about what classes would be best for you over your own, at the determent of your mental health or scheduled. My sisters now go to North and I'm excited for them, if not a little cautions in case they get a misogynist history teacher like myself. Overall, I got my diploma with a 3.9gpa without taking more than 3 AP classes and only 3 math classes. Lots of diversity while I was there and the queer community was very supported as there. The students are very outspoken and have a sense of self.Other Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 7401 W 61st St #1.
