The school works very hard at accomodating students that need emotional, physical, or environmental supports in the classroom and to maximize learning. Most teachers I've experienced work diligently to keep parents engaged and "in-the-loop" about any additional supports their kiddo may need, or discuss any struggles they may be having while working towards compassionate and effective solutions to keep learning at the forefront. My kiddos have done well here!My only constructive note is that I wish they would develop additional programs for students that might need a faster paced learning program (intensive STEM, for example). Boredom can cause behavioral struggles at times, and I think having more intense learning programs would benefit those who need it.

I went to this school from preschool to twelfth grade and the elementary school is fine. But the middle-high school is miserable. All the students disrespect the teachers, and they cant keep a teacher there for more than a year before they are forced to quit due to being mistreated. I can think of 6 different teachers, who were the best I ever had. But none of these teachers stayed for more than a year, and thats because they knew they are too good for this school. This place only cares about sports, and the arts are extremely under funded.I am not ashamed to say it; I hated WMHS.
