5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been the WORST school I have ever had a child of mine attend. Please, feel free to browse the other reviews here, where some happen to be from actual students who were afraid for their safety. It’s very unfortunate to experience extreme unprofessional behavior and communication from the staff, ESPECIALLY from counselors such as Harold Lewis II. I have both witnessed, and experienced for myself, tactics of intimidation and defensiveness during conversation with students and parents, including physical methods. Any inappropriate behavior from students, such as fighting and bullying, is encouraged by counseling staff, as they do not address these issues in an effective and professional manner. FOR YOUR OWN AND YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY, DO NOT BRING THEM TO THIS SCHOOL. Do everything in your power to avoid enrolling them in this school, as unfortunately you WILL regret it. The teachers are overworked and dismissive. If you have no choice but to send them here and you and your child have to endure the nature of the school’s ability to truly educate, please don’t hesitate to REPORT them, even to the district if necessary. Sadly, they do bank on the fact that working parents tend to be short on time given their work schedules, so it’s best to avoid this school at all costs. Good luck.Parent Review2y ago11 Reviews - Crawford High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely not the children here at the school are very extremely racist, especially if you are a religion that they don't accept then you will be expected to get jumped in the bathrooms. And when you tell the principal or other staff around you, they will not care instead they will just put you in a classroom and tell you to stay away from them. I have already graduated, but have went to the school all four years. The school didn't teach me anything not only that, but I had to risk my life or at least it felt like I was risking my life every time I was there the security is horrible. They will let anybody in as long as you look like a teenager. The safety is unacceptable especially when it comes to kids on kids Crawford high school does not care about your well-being at all whatsoever, this school is horrible and I definitely do not recommend you putting your children inside from someone who went there all four years of their life. I'm telling you there's way better schools and people will tell you otherwise but someone who had to go there all the gang violence and racism that is there at that school will make you want to end your own life.Other Review3w ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 73RD Boulevard Dr.

"As a younger mother of two, I love living here because of the elementary school, the people in this area are friendly and mostly keep to themselves or their crew but everyone has a sense of respect and we have had a lot of fun living here. It is a college town though, so you have be cool with that! It’s nostalgic for me so I don’t mind! "

"I lived here for 2 years before, and currently for over half a year.... More homeless in the area than before is the only drawback. "

"There are many families but not very much holiday spirit. There are a lot of homelessness and drug addicts roaming around. Cars drive very fast I would NOT let my kids play outside unless it’s a secured, fenced yard. listened to police scanner and heard nothing but shocking events all nearby."

"The College Area is an area of nice quality mid-century homes on large lots. The access to mass transit is great with the trolley on the north and access to major bus routes to the south. Great selection of ethnic foods and very walkable."

"while you do see a lot of people walking their dogs, its really unsafe because there are college kids that have no respect for others and are always throwing beer bottles and what not on the sidewalk so theres always broken glass. have also found used condoms and food that's poisonous for animals.
