If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with Lebanon Middle School has been nothing short of heartbreaking. My child, who has a documented disability and an IEP in place, has received almost no support from the staff here. The IEP is essentially ignored—no accommodations, no extra time on tests, no quiet environment for assessments—none of the things legally promised to help my child succeed.Communication with the staff has been incredibly discouraging. I’ve reached out multiple times to try and understand why my child is struggling so badly, only to be told that the teachers are "too busy" to support one individual. That "one individual" is a student with a disability. The message is loud and clear: if your child needs extra support, don’t expect to get it here.There are also serious issues with bullying that the school refuses to acknowledge or handle appropriately. Instead of addressing the students causing the harm, the school chooses to isolate the victim—further alienating them and making the situation worse.The art teacher, in particular, has been a repeated source of concern. My child’s experience mirrors that of students from past years—hostile, unprofessional, and completely lacking in empathy or understanding. This is not just a bad teacher. This is someone who clearly should not be working with kids at all.We’ve come to the devastating decision to move out of a home and community we love because we can’t bear to watch our child endure six more years of this. Lebanon Middle School has failed our family in every way that matters. If you’re a parent of a child who learns differently, please think twice before enrolling them here.

i'm a sophomore at lebanon high schools and they hardly ever deal with bullying. they have an anonymous tip line, and they do follow up with it, but hardly ever do they do something about it. teachers do not care about your mental health and all they care about is your grade. students with learning disabilities are bunched into the same class and they just hope they make it. the counselors here truthfully know nothing about student mental health and they only want you to be good in their class. many students struggle to keep up in class and many students struggle with their mental health but nothing is ever done about it. i guess if you want your kid to get the school support they need then lebanon is for you, but if you want your student to also have the emotional support they need, then do not send them here. they truly only care about test scores. many students here are either racist or homophobic, maybe even both. they also are very mean to kids with disabilities. it's a very toxic environment for many kids.

This school is wonderful if you have special needs child. We also started developmental preschool with our son and when he went one to kindergarten it was wonderful. The teachers keep you informed and they are willing to work with your child if they need more time. My son is now going to be starting honor classes for 1st grade and its all due to the wonderful teachers and commutation. I couldn't ask for anything better and would recommend this school to everyone. The teachers are wonderful and so is the staff.
