6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Northmor from K-12 starting at Iberia Elementary and attended Jr. High before the new complex was built. I also what to put forward that I did well in all of my classes and nothing in this is directed at any teacher instead meant to address what i feel are the drawbacks of the school. While there I thought that it was a decent school system and while that was true through Jr. High, once I reached high I began to realize that while some classes were taught very well, others are not taught like they should be. Most math classes are very good, similarly with science. Where the classes begin to lack is primarily English II while English III and IV are by far the most college like classes at the school. In general Northmor has not offered enough classes for accelerated student. An example of this is me, I was nearly out of classes to take by the time I was a senior. Once I began a highly ranked college I began to realize how little I was prepared for the challenge that I was facing. This school is not a college prep school but it is a good school in general.One thing that is very good about Norhtmor though is the focus on the arts including art classes, band, and choir.Other Review6y ago - Check out schools near 7326 State Route 19 #U6-L22-24.

"I grew up in Mt. Gilead, and am moving back after 23 years. I have been in Mansfield, but I am looking forward to coming home to a quieter, smaller community, that is friendly, and welcoming."
