It`s a great school to be!! Their commitment to academic excellence is balanced perfectly by boundless opportunities for parental involvement and meticulous attention to the holistic development of the children. The Principal Ms.Standish is an exceptional leader, she is fair and diligent, very energetic, enthusiastic and cheerful. You will often meet her managing the car lines at times, all events around or even travel with her to Washington D.C. - so that she can be closer to the students & meet the parents. The Administrative staff is warm and Professional and communication with the parent body is frequent. I would like to thank Mrs.Autero (LEA Representative) for being always here for our child and her professional team, especially Mrs.Waterfield, Mrs.Bostic, Mrs.Skarecki. Thank you to Ms.Hoffman for keeping us informed & being so supportive. The teachers are masters of their vocation. I would like to name the best of the best, which are approachable, accommodating and easy to get in touch with: Karyl Partridge (ESE), Mrs.Jackson (3rd) & Mr.Foyo, Joanne Gaydos (4th Grade), Mrs.Juca (4th) & Mrs.Kaplan (4th), Mrs.Scott (5th) & Mr.Dudley (5th). The school’s academic successes run concurrently to several memorable fun filled events that create a true family feel.Clubs : Many active clubs to keep your kids busy after school as well. Cleanliness - Cannot get any better. Staff - very co-operative & friendly. Discipline – we call it HRE way: positive modeling, emotional support Responsible Decision-Making. Our child had the best time at this school. We highly recommend this school!

This is a smoke and mirrors high school. Teacher dont care and they just simply give up. Principal and teachers only put attention or help students in Honors or Cambridge and they will push you in your Senior year so the school can, again, win the most graduates award. Vollyeball team is a joke, both Junior and Varsity. They dont help with bullying whatsoever! My daughter was attacked 2 years ago by another student and the Principal did nothing just blame it on my daughter for not stopping it before it happened and then change the subject to show me my daughter grades and complained why there were low. I filed a police report and everyhting but the school police call me to see if I wanted to drop the charges because it was likely that the judge will dismiss the case. I never heard again about the incident so I believe they successfully cover it. Students are allowed to be abnoxious and disrupting classes which make it hard to learn. Thank God, my daughter is not longer in that school/ Maybe once upon a time was a good school thanks to all the money rich parents donate but that is it!

I am a current student, and I know Carver. They have a lot of fights, and a lot of students talk trash, some teachers curse out students, and others roast them i front of their class. One time, there was a fight, and this teacher was watching it instead of stopping it. It was only a teacher who came and stop it after two minutes. They're good, it conquese because if you fight, you a least get two or one day of ISS (in-school suspension).
