5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey're only solution for children is to suspend them. They don't try to mediate they're more for labeling a child and putting any and everything on there record. I plan on taking my son out asap. He needs to be properly educated instead labeled and kicked out every chance they get.Parent Review2y ago - Carrigan 5/6 Intermediate School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo far I have no complaints about Carrigan. My child is in 5th grade and really likes going to school. She has a great teacher who is so helpful and makes learning fun for the students. Even with my child's learning disabilities she feels very comfortable being at school. At this point I am a happy parent.Parent Review10y ago - West Haven High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is terrible. Most of the teachers have absolutely no control over their classes. For example, during my sophomore year, a boy was bullied by another kid every day in class. The teacher was aware of the situation and did nothing to help. The situation eventually escalated into physical violence. During my time there, bomb threats and fights happened regularly. Students in academic classes were often so loud and disruptive that my average day would end with a throbbing migraine. This all leaves the students and many of the teachers apathetic and disenfranchised (though I did have a handful of quality teachers during my time there). I genuinely hope that this place can make some serious changes. The kids attending WHHS are being done a massive disservice.Teacher Review5y ago - Check out schools near 73 Pauline Ave.
