7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHello! I went to North Cache for one year in 7th grade a few years back. There are good teachers (some aren't great, but that's in every school), good people and good clubs to join (although there aren't any sports.) My one problem was the atmosphere of the school. It might be a Utah thing, but I felt like everybody would try to be exactly the same. Many people had the same blonde highlights, clothes, mannerisms and perfect eyelashes. I understand that, as middle schoolers, everybody is trying to find their place and fit in, but I also felt like most people weren't willing to accept anybody who wasn't like them. As a multiracial, insecure 13 year old, I hated it. Looking back, I was a bit antisocial, but it wasn't as if I wasn't trying to make friends. In the end, I was able to find several amazing people who helped me through, but I still think the overall Utah culture is a bit cutthroat. My aunt once said, "I feel like everybody would sell their soul to look cute." and I wholeheartedly agree.I ended up moving to the East Coast after 7th grade, and felt much more at home in my new middle school, where, even though everybody was still very white, the atmosphere was better. All in all, yes, North Cache is a good school. Just, if you're from out of Utah, be prepared for a little bit of a culture-shock.Other Review2y ago - Sky View High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSky view isn’t a great school! Principals will target your kids if they get in trouble for the smallest thing. School bus driver named tonya who drives bus 93 is a terrible driver. Targets kids and treats kids terrible! Sky view will do nothing to help. District will do nothing to help either. Cache school district isn’t the best either!!Other Review2y ago - Birch Creek School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two kids now at Birch Creek and am astounded by the quality of this school. EVERY teacher we have had has immeasurable concern for the student, their well-being, and their learning experience. The principal spends a lot of time with the students including eating lunch with them and makes everything fun. They have a great reward system for students reading progress!! My daughter's LOVE it!Parent Review9y ago - Check out schools near 7226 Estancia Ln.

"There are many families in the community and lots of schools and all ages of kids. It’s safe to let your kids ride their bike around the block and not worry to much . They can play at the parks and not feel like they will get bullied"

"The commute is quite far away I am driving 100 miles one way to get to my office. There are limited options."

"This place is really nice and really well priced but..... the rules are extremely strict! It makes it difficult to enjoy. The neighbors we had told on us for everything! Things that aren't a big deal, they make a big deal about it. You can't even leave a single thing on your front porch without getting a warning note on your door that if you don't remove it, it'll be a $20 fine a day! People drive through the parking lot like they're in a race and there are tons of kids playing in the area. Like I said, it's a nice place and well priced, but very, very strict! We also left our locked car on the street and someone broke into it and stole our electronics. Weird because Smithfield is such a low key city. I was very disappointed."

"This location is perfect for the nature lover as well as those interested in a safe and private community. Hiking and biking in Smithfield and Summit Creek Canyons are quite accessible and the folks that live in this neighborhood are the friendliest and most helpful around."
