Description

Completely renovated down to the studs in 2016, this beautifully updated Shawnee home on Kickapoo offers the peace of mind of modern systems paired with timeless character and craftsmanship. Renovations were completed with city permits and inspections and included all-new windows, plumbing, electrical, central heat and air, and roof. Inside, you’ll love the stunning hardwood floors, soaring 10-foot ceilings, and custom woodwork featuring a blend of painted and stained finishes that give the home warmth and style throughout. Offering 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and approximately 1,236 square feet, this home was thoughtfully designed with functionality in mind, including pull-down attic access, separate laundry room, spacious kitchen, and has ceiling fans and walk-in closets in every bedroom. Recent seller upgrades totaling approximately $7,000 include new exterior paint, brand new carpet in the spacious primary suite, a freshly stained wood 6' privacy fence, newly epoxied front porch, and fresh gravel for the driveway. An attached exterior storage area provides the perfect spot for a lawnmower, lawn tools, or additional outdoor storage needs. Additional improvements include new septic lines from the home to the alley complete with clean-outs. Even more exciting, the City of Shawnee is currently installing a new sewer system in the alley with a backflow preventor valve and will also be pouring a new driveway entrance and sidewalks as part of the ongoing Kickapoo Road construction improvements. With both Kickapoo frontage and convenient alley access for parking, this move-in ready home combines quality renovations, modern updates, and future city improvements in one fantastic package. Walking distance to elementary school.

  • Darrian S.
"There are shops at a decent walking distance if you don’t have a vehicle. Homeland, gas stations, fast food. "
  • T.r.trouerbach
"Bikes get stolen easily so bring them inside. Make sure you always look both directions when crossing the streets because drivers sometimes forget their lights and sirens in this town when speeding."
  • Jan T.
"There is no place in Shawnee that takes longer than 10 minutes by car to reach. There are very rarely anything that resembles a traffic jam. "
  • Alberto_garcia2014
"Most of the neighbors that I know take special interest in others fur babies. I my neighborhood, it is just in taking time to get to know know one another, but also everyone pets names is very important for the safety of our community. "
  • Patty W.
"I love living in Windmill Ridge. The neighbors are friendly & helpful. Everyone takes care of their property and I enjoy walking around Hope Lake and all of the walking trails. "
  • Laila S.
"There are some parks that aren’t kept up with and have discarded needles left around. When it’s not stolen packages and strange people knocking at your door, it can be nice. We have a friendly police force and some of the people here are nice. There’s a lot of local owned businesses and head shops. We have the Crows market that sells fresh produce only from Oklahoma farmers. It’s not so bad, just be careful of where you walk and remember to lock all your doors. It would be good to have a dog with you."
  • 00victoria09
"The north side of shawnee(N of Independence) is the best part of the town. The south is ROUGH though. If you do live on the south side- keep doors locked/windows locked and try to have fenced in yards. "
  • Patty W.
"Walking trails and a lake. We also have a get together once a year with a cookout & entertainment. I know all of my neighbors right around me & would ask them for a favor or would be happy to do a favor for them. I feel safe here. "
  • 00victoria09
"There are very few sidewalks through Shawnee. Only a couple raids partially have any at all. People don’t really watch for them while driving. The animal control doesn’t help if your animals are lost. Not very good place. "
  • Sarah H.
"Our neighborhood works together to keep everyone safe especially since we have had a couple of break-ins. Not only are we on patrol but we work hard on keeping the children safe and comfortable while playing outside."
  • Twostrong211
"very quit neighbor Hood good neighbors and well maintained every body takes care of the yard around kids love it to"
  • Jessicaljones2015
"There is a new dog park that just opened! I haven’t been to it but I see people there often times during the week."
