4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you can, avoid living too close to the school and subjecting yourself (and your child) to the worst pick up/drop off ever. The school expects you to cram 30 minutes worth of traffic into a 10 minute block of time. Cars are going everywhere and you have to rely on inexperienced crossing guards that are too concerned with socializing for direction. I have witnessed car accidents. It is just a nightmare. The school is not worth the headache/risk.The school itself is okay. They do many school events and the kids love it (though it can become costly). The school always seems to have their hand out. The school supply lists are costly and specific. You buy for every child in the classroom, not just your own which this past year resulted in $40 worth of school supplies for a 2nd grader. The school seems to have it's own agenda. Some of the teachers are great and others are a concern. Many of the support staff come across as stuck up - making it less welcoming.Overall the school has potential but not without the right staff with the right priorities set.Parent Review10y ago1 Reviews - Middleborough High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMiddleboro High-school is an Exceptional School for my kids! This school is beautiful, modern and equipped with excellent teachers and technology to give my children the type of education that my husband and I could only dream of. We moved to Middleboro 7 years ago because are town unfortunately has changed since we were kids and wanted to move to a place where safety, cleanliness, faith and strong community spirit mattered and after visiting many nice towns, our family decided to move to Middleboro and it has been the best decision we've ever made. The Athletic programs offered and College preparation classes have my kids inspired about there academics! Last thing,.. Is living in Middleboro expensive?.. Yes,..Extremely! But if you value a safe and beautiful place to live and raise your family, then working that extra job to live in a place like Middleboro will be the best investment you will ever make! Thank you to all the hardworking teachers, coaches ect. In this community for all that you do! We are all so very grateful!!Parent Review2mo ago9 Reviews - John T. Nichols Middle School

"People always walk their dogs in town. There are lots of sidewalks and it’s pretty safe. I’ve never had a stray dog approach me. "

"Middleborough is a Beautiful and safe community to live and raise a family in. Politically Middleborough is an overwhelmingly conservative township for Massachusetts, voting (R) for over 150 consecutive years. The town is quiet and friendly with a strong emphasis on faith and family as most residents attend church every Sunday. Middleborough is also the 2nd largest town in Massachusetts in terms of land area, covering a enormous 72.2 square miles."

"This is a neighborhood where most people keep to themselves. Everyone knows each other by sight but may not communicate. If you needed something though, most would happily help out. It’s getting very expensive to live here as it is any place in Massachusetts with the current one party rule. Nice area if you can afford it. Some young kids but mostly adults at this point. "

"Different roads are more walkable than others. Some with sidewalks, some without, some quieter streets with no sidewalks, and really busy streets with them. It’s pretty variable depending on the street. "

"I moved to this town when I met my fiancé at the time, now husband. It’s a cute and quiet type town, and I’ve enjoyed living here for the past 3 years. There are horses and cattle, as well as other farm animals on every corner, so it’s the perfect little country life to raise our daughter in."
