I am a true believer that learning is essential, this is for all students along with my on, Teachers are not just teachers they are leaders, in my experience for 2024 2nd grade and the first 9 weeks 2025 of third grade not working dealing with this same teacher, shows the same bias very contradicting, my granddaughter was injured on the playground by another student with a stick , it was reported to the teacher, her reply was that's not my problem ! when picking my granddaughter up from school others student told me what was said by the teacher said, before my grandchild was able to tell me !! this teacher is reported as i don't ask questions if she's having a bad day and going off on us REALLY. so its the teachers that make this not a good school to attend. the teachers make the school, I'm sure that not all the teachers are like this, there are dedicated teachers at this school, my granddaughter was just not bless to have a dedicated for 2nd and the first 9 weeks of 3rd grade, my heart goes out to any student that has to deal with this teacher in any grade, she has no compassion, no leadership, so no i wouldn't gamble my childs furture at this school.

I don’t know what is wrong with this school! It was horrible I mean hooooorrrribleeee! The students disrespectful and ghetto. Teacher rude, disrespectful and always thinking they the parents of the child. Don’t get me started on the deans and principals. Mr. Erico don’t act like no damn principle. Deans and assistants principle act like they don’t want this job neither. They wouldn’t let me into school multiple times just because I had crocs on. Which is ridiculous! They are more worried about dress code than education. I would not recommend sending your child to Westside middle school in Jacksonville Florida.

I’m extremely disappointed with how Ed White High School handled a recent incident involving my younger sister.A staff member repeatedly misgendered my sister after being corrected and later referred to her as transgender. This was disrespectful not only to my sister, but also to the broader LGBTQ+ community. Educators are expected to de-escalate situations and model professionalism — not escalate or demean students.What’s most troubling is that my sister was disciplined immediately and multiple times, while the adult involved faced no visible accountability. This creates the appearance of bias and raises serious concerns about how student complaints are handled versus how staff behavior is addressed.Instead of focusing on accountability and transparency, the school’s response felt dismissive and defensive. That erodes trust between families and the institution that’s supposed to protect and educate children.I hope the administration reflects on this situation, takes appropriate corrective action, and prioritizes respect, fairness, and student well-being moving forward.
