This stylish desert adobe is the whole Joshua Tree experience!Comfort and modern style intersect in this striking adobe home with sweeping 12-mile desert views. This spacious (over 2000 sq feet!) 4 bedroom, 2 bath home is filled with abundant natural light throughout.-10-foot ceilings, granite counter tops, stone floors throughout- 2 fireplaces in the house, 1 in the living room AND 1 in the master bedroom- A spacious entertainer's kitchen with bar island- Enchanting custom courtyard- 8-person spa set under the wide open sky for endless stargazing- Propane BBQ & Fire pit- Central heat and a/c and added evaporator cooler OTHER THINGS TO NOTEProfessionally managed by Property Manager RENTAL AGREEMENTThere will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation FOURTH BEDROOMThe pictures show a futon couch and foosball table but the couch has been removed and there is now a queen bed with bed frame. There is still the foosball table at the foot of the bed. CAMERASThis property has 2 camera, one in the front yard and one in the back. They are only for security of the property. A/CThe Horizon House is cooled by a brand new central air conditioner and separate evaporative cooler which is run by pumping water to the system. These are two separate units that work differently and cool the house differently. When using the evaporative cooler you will need to make sure to leave a window cracked in the rooms where you want to feel the cool air, having the window cracked will make pull the air through the house.With Central air, make sure the windows are closed to keep the cool air in the house.**note the evaporative cooler will not be available from November-March to ensure the water lines do not freeze. WASHER/DRYERHouse has a washer and dryer available to guests that are staying with us for an extended period of 3 or more days. If you are traveling with an infant or young children please let us know and we will give you access to the laundry room. GAMESWe have provided a number of indoor games and outdoor activities for kids and adults alike. Be sure to keep all the pieces and parts together where they belong so everyone can continue to enjoy them. FIREDue to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no outside fire policy. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, using fireworks or other open fire means your rental agreement will be terminated and you will be asked to leave. GUESTSYou are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests. IDENTITY VERIFICATIONYou will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text.ADDED SERVICES FOR OUR GUESTS PRIVATE IN-HOME YOGAWant to have a private yoga experience in your rental? Please inquire upon booking and we will set you up with a local yoga instructor for your peaceful desert getaway.
