4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here for my high school education. The art program is where I spent most of my time and inspired me to become a art teacher myself. Made good friends with the teachers in that program and felt a mutual respect between student and teacher. But in the other departments, there were issues. Fortunately the teachers that went out of their way to be misogynist or unprofessional towards the students left after my graduation. Mr.Ewers is a great principle from what I remember, making an effort to get to know the students on a individual level. The counselors did their best but often but their opinion about what classes would be best for you over your own, at the determent of your mental health or scheduled. My sisters now go to North and I'm excited for them, if not a little cautions in case they get a misogynist history teacher like myself. Overall, I got my diploma with a 3.9gpa without taking more than 3 AP classes and only 3 math classes. Lots of diversity while I was there and the queer community was very supported as there. The students are very outspoken and have a sense of self.Other Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 7109 Conser St.

"I have lived in the neighborhood for 32 years. It’s a great place to live and raise kids. The over $5m the city spent in improvements have been well received. However we do miss our big tree, but not so much the leaves!!"

"I've lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years. There are always people jogging, biking and walking dogs. Neighborhood is very close to Advent Health Center, Antioch park and pretty much everything. Great neighbors and great place to live !"

"Sidewalk is only on one side of street so you may have to go across a street to get to the sidewalk. Also, in winter, people don’t shovel, so impossible to walk sometimes in the winter. "

"I just moved to this neighborhood but I find it to be really close knit and safe! I am excited to be a part of this community and look forward to our involvement."

"You can walk to elementary school and 2 parks are nearby. Sidewalk friendly neighborhood. This is a subdivision where dues pay for trash, which is less than anywhere else in the city. Everybodies yards are fenced. Streets are tree lined for great shade. Close to grocery stores, churches, and the bus line(Jo). "
