About this House

Investing in real estate is one of the smartest things you can do in your life. Whats even better is investing in a multi-unit home. A 2-Family property can be part of an investors portfolio and produce a steady cash flow while providing liquidity. It can also be your primary residence providing you with your own space, and pride of ownership, but also allowing you to rent out the 2nd Unit to a tenant. The rental income produced will drastically reduce the monthly mortgage payment for the home owner, allowing the owner to live comfortably and with less stress. Dont let a high mortgage payment weigh you down every month. Invest in yourself and invest in this 2 Family home in Lansingburgh. This is something you can also keep with you for years to come. Want to get a single family home? No problem. Rent out both units in the future and now you have yourself the beginning of your own portfolio.

  • Giavana Buffa
"Dog parks and safe walking spaces with adequate sidewalks (mediocre night lighting) available for enjoying outside time although unfortunately I’ve experienced unleashed and without owner dogs throughout the city multiple times."
  • Janie B
"Great loop to walk dogs, woods and wood path make a nice walk and place for dogs to go the bathroom "
  • Paul W.
"Northern Troy has a high Crime rate of 35 per 1000. It is rundown with boarded up homes & buildings, and a lot of closed businesses. We rented there, and my significant other did not feel safe walking around there. So I would not say it is walkable or bikeable. And I wouldn't want to bring up a family in Troy. Before you rent or buy, walk through the neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"The public elementary schools are very good with caring teachers. The area is within walking distance to Peebles Island State Park. With the ice rink, walking/running track, tennis courts, Powers Park with summer concerts, library and Lansingbugh Historical Society, it is a convenient and accessible friendly village. It’s on the upswing. After 18 years here, I’ve seen progress and enjoy being part of the solution."
  • Wendy M.
"parades, school events, going to get ice cream at Snowman. there are many others like chowder tasting, turkey trot at Thanksgiving."
  • Meghanwilder2
"It’s a nice area and a pretty easy commute to everything. The schools are nice and the parks are pretty big and also pet friendly. "
  • Keelyjluce
"Most houses half decently large yards which are good for dogs, and there are many local parks to walk them in such as knickerbacker park, Frear park, Oakwood century. "
  • Kebrina.cabrera
"People need to pick up their poop after their dog. I always have to pick up poop in my front yard and I think that’s unacceptable "
  • Badgirlsgocrazy
"The great school for my kids just better I feel to raisin my kids I lived on 2nd ave in Troy ny for a few years..."
  • Johanna N.
    "It’s typically a quiet place...I haven’t noticed many dog walkers however it’s a dog friendly area "
  • Kathryn N.
"I have to carry mace when I walk my dog because she has been attacked by dogs off of leashes. One dog actually jumped a fence after us. Also I think every other house in Lansing rug have dogs and never pick up after them. "
  • Cerone S.
"Family get togethers family events block parties everything that you would hope for plus the people are very friendly and supportive "
  • Gracie E.

  • Prince A.
"A lot of local businesses. Very diverse population. Many places are in walking distance. Downtown is perfect for couples. "
  • Sinaibeach
"Gun shots, people sitting around doing nothing, hookers soliciting you, garbage on the ground, drunk people, always find parking though"
  • Prostreet13
"safest neighborhood in troy, clean, attractive, serene very neighborly and health-oriented (lots of walkers, a fitness trail, cross country skiing, tennis courts, picnic area by the pond animal friendly (cats and dogs allowed)"
