I love and enjoy the experience my family has at the elementary schools

The teachers are very nice and supportive, and bullying isn't that much of an issue if you don't stand out very much. But the overall atmosphere is not great and I believe this middle school has its flaws as it is being far from perfect. I noticed that in this school the teachers really try to do everything in order to teach students well, and I feel like this school is below average. It's pretty old and dirty, some kids vape (popular girls), test scores aren't great; but that's really the only flaws I've noticed so far.

Bayfield High School has gone downhill ever since 2020. Combined with inexperienced teachers and an incompetent administration, most students I go here with would not recommend enrolling here. BSD has decided to hire teachers with no teaching degrees, or degrees in fields they are not teaching. Teachers here do not care for students' emotional and mental health; they're just worried about handing out papers and receiving their paycheck. Regardless of the amount of emails that are sent to teachers regarding their behaviors and how they can improve, they still disregard all advice. Adminstration here have told teachers to unfairly adjust student's grades because of their prior behavior, and the administrations personal opinions of the student in question. If you plan to enroll your child, maybe consider enrollement to Durango.
